OBDC unveils plaques honoring Olean Business Institute & The McCarthy Family

OBDC welcomed former Olean Business Institute (OBI) staff, administration, faculty and friends to the Laine Place building entryway on Friday, April 18th, 2025, to unveil a series of plaques honoring Olean Business Institute and The McCarthy Family.

Through their efforts as leaders and teachers, Daniel R. and Patrick J. McCarthy had a tremendous economic, social, and academic impact on the Olean region, Southern Tier, and beyond. Their dedication, vision, and determination will long be remembered for their efforts and contributions to the business community and the lives of the people they touched.
